Acceptable Use Policy | Fix Overexposed Photos
Rules for safe, lawful and authorized use of Fix Overexposed Photos.
Last updated: August 6, 2026
Authorized use
Only upload images you own or are authorized to process. You are responsible for the source material, the processing request and how you use the generated result.
Prohibited content
You may not use Fix Overexposed Photos to create, facilitate or distribute content that:
- Pornography or NSFW content — sexually explicit material, nudity or erotic content of any kind.
- Violence or gore — graphic depictions of violence, injury, death or bodily harm.
- Hate speech — content that attacks, demeans or incites hatred against a person or group on the basis of race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or other protected characteristic.
- Child-unsafe content (CSAM) — sexual content involving minors, child sexual abuse material, or any content that sexualizes children. This category is zero tolerance: we immediately block the content, terminate the account and report it to the relevant authorities.
- Deepfakes and impersonation — non-consensual deepfakes or deceptive impersonation of real individuals, brands or organizations.
- Copyright or trademark infringement — material you do not own or are not authorized to reproduce, adapt or distribute.
You may also not use Fix Overexposed Photos to facilitate terrorism or extremism, provide instructions for weapons, incite violence or genocide, spread malicious misinformation, commit fraud, harassment or unlawful surveillance, or attempt to bypass authentication, payment, credit limits, file validation, rate limits or provider safeguards.
Content moderation
We review content at multiple layers:
- Automated screening. Uploaded images and processing requests are screened in real time with automated content-safety tools (including the OpenAI Moderation API) to detect prohibited categories. Content flagged as high risk is blocked or held for human review.
- Human review. Flagged content and user reports are reviewed by our trust and safety team. Severe categories — child safety, terrorism and imminent harm — are escalated for immediate action.
- Periodic audits. We periodically sample generated content and evaluate the accuracy of our screening so detection stays effective.
Enforcement
Depending on the severity of a violation and the account's history, we may:
- Block a task or remove generated content;
- Forfeit credits used on the violating task;
- Restrict or limit access to features;
- Suspend the account pending review;
- Permanently ban the account;
- Preserve information and report serious violations (child safety, terrorism, criminal content) to the relevant authorities.
Serious violations are handled on an expedited basis — child-safety and terrorism content is acted on within hours.
Reporting
To report content that may violate this policy, contact support@fixoverexposedphotos.net. All reports are treated confidentially and reviewed independently; malicious or false reports are subject to enforcement.
Appeals
If you believe an enforcement decision was made in error, reply to the enforcement notice or email support@fixoverexposedphotos.net. Appeals are reviewed by a different reviewer than the one who made the original decision.
